Black Ops 6’ voice actors being recast began to circulate, Activision has seemingly confirmed that some of the cast have indeed been replaced.

Unlike film and TV actors, who can strike even if a project is in-production, a clause known as Side Letter Six permits work on interactive media to continue. And whilst members on daily contracts may choose to strike in solidarity, given Black Ops 6 was in development before July 2024 Activision is permitted to replace striking actors.

Zombies characters William Peck (Zeke Alton) and Samantha Maxis (Julie Nathanson) are currently voiced by new, unknown actors. Alton told Game Developer that he takes no issue with Activision’s actions with Peck, but expressed concern “for my brand as a performer.”

Following rumors that cast members had been replaced, Activision confirms certain voice actors have been recast in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

A 2013 build of Black Ops 2 has leaked, featuring the cancelled DLC 5 that would become the Chronicles expansion. Footage has already surfaced of Kino der Toten being played in Black Ops 2, as well as the first version of Origins.
