Delhi's air quality reached 'severe' levels on Friday, with an alarming AQI of 433, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The city is grappling with hazardous air, putting residents at high health risk.

The AQI in Delhi is about 30.07 times higher than the PM2.5 standard value set by WHO guidelines, equating to the health impact of smoking about 10 to 11 cigarettes daily.
