Hitting the streets least five months late, Apple's next-generation CarPlay experience that it is calling "CarPlay Ultra" will start arriving in Aston Martin cars in the next few weeks.

Apple said it will also work with auto manufacturers to come up with appropriate visual themes for different cars. Luckily, the wait for CarPlay Ultra to come to other vehicles isn't astronomically large; according to Apple, it will roll out to other cars globally in the next 12 months.

The more deeply integrated system will be available in a few weeks for older Aston Martins and will also be available for Hyundai, Kia and Genesis vehicles.
