Bayern Munich closed the first half of their season with an emphatic 5–1 crushing of RB Leipzig. After a frantic opening to the game which saw Bayern and Leipzig both score in the first two minutes, Vincent Kompany’s team calmly took control of the proceedings and turned the match into a one-sided affair.

Bayern Munich delivered. The Rekordmeister not only beat RB Leipzig but dismantled them. Although Leipzig was able to respond quickly when Jamal Musiala gave Bayern the lead with the first attack with a goal by Benjamin Sesko, the Red Bulls had zero response to what came next.
