When the NFL announced the 2025 Pro Bowlers earlier this morning, the Buffalo Bills had two players make the roster: QB Josh Allen and LT Dion Dawkins. Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, was who did not make it.

In fact, it's rather unbelievable that the NFL's touchdowns leader did not earn a Pro Bowl selection, and the Buffalo Bills' running back publicly shared his bewilderment on the social media site now known as X.

That’s what Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is likely thinking after Pro Bowl rosters were announced on Thursday. Cook, amid a career year, was named a first-team alternate with Derrick Henry, Joe Mixon and Jonathan Taylor being named starters in the Pro Bowl Games. Following the announcement, Cook took to X and shared the following message.

The NFL's interception leader, a 42-touchdown QB and a pair of star rookie WRs didn't make the cut this season.

The NFL announced its full roster for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday, a collection of the 88 best-performing players from the 2024 season—44 apiece from the NFC and AFC. But as is tradition, the deserving players left off the initial Pro Bowl rosters are just about as notable as the ones who earned the nod.
