A Super Bowl 59 rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles-and Kansas City Chiefs is set for Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season.

The Philadelphia Eagles will open the 2025 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4 in the NFL Kickoff Game.

The NFL’s full 2025 schedule release is set to air at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday on NFL Network. In years past, teams have found creative ways to reveal their season slates. Last year’s Cowboys bit featured FaceTime calls to notable fans of NFL teams like Eli Manning (Giants) and Dawn Staley (Eagles).

The Eagles and Chiefs will meet on Sept. 14 after the defending Super Bowl champions open the season against the Cowboys.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will visit the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. The matchup was announced on “CBS Mornings” on Wednesday, continuing the release of select marquee games ahead of the full release of the NFL schedule.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys will meet for a Thanksgiving matchup on CBS and Paramount Plus. Fans can get tickets now at Seat Geek, StubHub, Vivid Seats and Ticketmaster.

The Dallas Cowboys checked one box with Osa Odighizuwa at defensive tackle, but the rest of that room is still uncertain.
