A month after Drake accused Universal Music Group of inflating "Not Like Us" steams through a deal with Spotify, the music service fired back.

"Spotify found no evidence to substantiate this claim," the music streaming company said in its response to the Canadian rapper's petition.

Spotify has made an official statement denying Drake's claims in a legal filing last month that the streaming numbers for Kendrick Lamar's song "Not Like Us," which took powerful verbal shots at the Canadian rapper,
