My personal guess on why this might be the case is that bar a couple of QNED91 screen sizes last year, LG has consistently used contrast-limited IPS LCD panel technology rather than the VA alternative.

The company’s Zero Connect Box isn’t exclusive to OLED anymore. And AI will be inescapable on this year’s TVs; there’s even an AI button right on the remote.
