The scary scene happened in garbage time. With just 30 seconds left in the third period, and the Wild on the penalty kill, a puck hit the unsuspecting Faber in on the right side of his face. The 22-year-old former Minnesota Gopher grabbed his face and immediately left the ice.

It was a very freak injury for Faber as he took a shot from Florida's Eetu Luostarinen in the neck area. According to Michael Russo, Faber was brought to the hospital to get checked out.
