Nima Momeni has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee, a verdict reached by a San Francisco jury after seven days of deliberations.

SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco jury on Tuesday morning found Nima Momeni guilty of second-degree murder in last year's fatal stabbing of Cash App founder Bob Lee. In reaching their verdict, the jury of six men and six women also chose not to find Momeni guilty of the higher offense of murder in the first degree.

A San Francisco jury convicted Nima Momeni, the man accused of killing Cash App founder Bob Lee in The City in April 2023, of second-degree murder. The jury reached a verdict Monday afternoon, announcing its decision Tuesday morning following seven days of deliberation. Lee faces a prison sentence of 16 years to life.
