Formula 1 driver Sergio Pérez is officially leaving Red Bull Racing after four years, with the Mexican driver announcing jointly with the team on Wednesday that they’ve reached an agreement to part ways before his contract ends.

Pérez’s downturn in performance had big implications for Red Bull, which couldn’t defend the constructors’ championship.
