NVIDIA also has some extra competition in the mid- to low-end market now that Intel has launched its Battlemage desktop GPUs. The Arc B580 is the first card to hit the market, boasting 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a $249 price tag.

Going back to Zotac’s leak, using RTX 5090 as an example, there is 32GB of GDDR7 memory on board — a third more than the previous king of the mountain in the RTX 4090. This is the part that gets me a little nervous, as that nullifies the 20% decrease in power demands with more storage.

Rumors have suggested that Nvidia will be taking the wraps off of some next-generation RTX 50-series graphics cards at CES in January. And as we get closer to that date, Nvidia's partners and some of the PC makers have begun to inadvertently leak details of the cards.
