A fight at a southwest Atlanta gas station ended with one man being rushed to the hospital and another man on the run, police say.Officials say the shooting happened at the Shell gas station on the 400 block of Whitehall Street at around 10:45 p.

Officers found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital. The current extent of the victim’s injuries and his identity is unknown. Police say an incident happened at 3181 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW.

ATLANTA - A 19-year-old man was killed in a southwest Atlanta shooting on Monday afternoon. It happened at around 2:48 p.m. in the 300 block of Holderness Street SW near Greenwich Street SW. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers arrived to find a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Atlanta Police Department says there was a shooting involving an officer overnight in the 1500 block of Moores Mill Road NW.

An Atlanta Police officer fired a gun toward a fleeing vehicle in the early morning hours Monday, the department said. APD said one of its officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a car for a traffic infraction in the 1500 block of Moores Mill Road.
