The Spokane Medical Examiner has confirmed the name and cause of death for a man that was hit by a car on Sunday.

A man was shot and killed Monday afternoon in Spokane Valley. One suspect was outstanding , Spokane Valley Police Chief Dave Ellis said at the scene. The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office later sent out a release saying two men have been detained in connection to the shooting.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on North Tschirley Road. The driver told deputies he was traveling north when he noticed a Kia parked on the east side of the road, partially blocking the travel lane.

A delivery driver was struck and killed by a car when crossing the road Sunday in an industrial area in Spokane Valley. The man parked his Kia on the side of the road near North Tschirley Road and East Dalton Avenue to make a delivery, according to a news release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. The release did not say where he worked.
