The Toronto Raptors couldn't turn to its bench fast enough in what turned into a costly victory Monday night against the Washington Wizards

Toronto native A.J. Lawson made seven 7-pointers while scoring a career-high 32 points, and he also grabbed 12 of the Raptors’ franchise-record 73 rebounds in a 119-104 victory over the Washington Wizards.

Lawson, from Brampton, Ont., was one of four Raptors to earn a double-double as Toronto routed the Washington Wizards 119-104. Lawson finished with 32 points and 12 rebounds, both career highs, off the bench.
