When Netflix announced in October they’d renewed Virgin River for a seventh season, making the adaptation of Robyn Carr’s romance novels their longest-running English-language drama ever (Orange Is the New Black was initially classed purely as a comedy),

"I love Mark, who plays Cameron, and I love the character of Cameron," he explained. "He will always be a part of the world, and I would love to see his character back, but he won’t be a series regular in Season 7, unfortunately.”
