Saturday night’s game was the first time since last week that the Vancouver Canucks’ J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson played on the power play together. Even so, the team still lost 5-4 in overtime to the Ottawa Senators.

Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson has spoken out against the growing turmoil and potential trade rumors involving himself and teammate J.T. Miller.

On a day where Quinn Hughes shed light on the alleged locker room rift between Pettersson and J.T. Miller, stating that he knows the situation is “workable,” the Canucks’ highest paid player had a much testier answer when asked about his relationship with Miller.

If the whispers of tension within the Vancouver Canucks’ locker room are, in fact, true, Elias Pettersson isn’t going to give that away with his words.
