Garrett Crochet allowed one run on seven hits over seven innings, Rafael Devers was 4 for 4 with three RBIs and the Boston Red Sox beat Kansas City 10-1 on Saturday night to end the Royals' winning streak at seven.

Bobby Witt Jr. was the catalyst for the Royals’ only run in the third. He connected on a one-out single, stole second, moved to third on a balk, then scored when Mark Canha’s blooper plopped out of Boston second baseman Kristian Campbell’s glove when he stabbed for a backhanded attempt in short right.

Crochet threw seven strong innings with nine strikeouts; Trevor Story and Carlos Narvaez homered in a 10-1 rout of the Royals.
