Lowry's late goal lifts Jets past Sharks
SAN JOSE -- Adam Lowry scored the go-ahead goal with 1:13 remaining in the third period, and the Winnipeg Jets rallied for a 4-3 win against the San Jose Sharks at SAP Center on Tuesday. Lowry deflected Dylan DeMelo's shot from the right point past Sharks goalie Alexandar Georgiev.
Winnipeg's captain scored with just 1:13 to go while Kyle Connor scored twice and Mark Scheifele scored as well in the win.
While the top line did a lot of the offensive work on Tuesday, it was the Jets third line that scored the game winner. At 18:47, Adam Lowry redirected a Dylan DeMelo shot from the point past Georgiev.
