The Congress has strongly rebutted claims by Navya Haridas, who alleged misleading nomination papers by Priyanka Gandhi. Haridas finished third in the Wayanad election, while Priyanka won by over 4 lakh votes.

Haridas, who contested the seat and lost by a significant margin of over five lakh votes, claims that the Congress MP misrepresented information in her nomination papers.

The matter is likely to come up for a hearing in January next year as the High Court will be on vacation from December 23 to January 5.
