I give him a lot of credit. Obviously emotional for him. He gets traded and he’s got a lot of travel, and came in and showed in,” John Hynes said postgame.
BOSTON – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 6, that the team has acquired forwards Marat Khusnutdinov and Jakub Lauko and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick (originally from Boston) from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for forward Justin Brazeau.
Minnesota was the last team the Bruins beat before that five-game skid, a run which further dimmed Boston’s playoff hopes.
"The human side of me was crushed," Jeremy Swayman said as the Bruins tried to pick up the post-deadline pieces.
