Five players from ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 winners India have been selected for the Team of the Tournament after they beat New Zealand in a pulsating final. The Black Caps saw four members of their squad make the team, including Player of the Tournament Rachin Ravindra, with Mitchell Santner being named captain.

Geopolitical reality, lack of buzz in host nation Pakistan and mediocre cricket in general meant Champions Trophy's much-anticipated return to the calendar did not go according to plan for the governing International Cricket Council (ICC).

On Monday, March 10, the ICC announced the Team of the Tournament for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, featuring four Indian players – Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Mohammed Shami. Meanwhile, Axar Patel has been named as the 12th player in the squad.

Shreyas Iyer finished as the top scorer for India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He registered the scores of 15, 56, 79, 45, and 48 in Dubai, which was not easy to bat on.
