Jayson Tatum has a long road ahead after the Celtics superstar ruptured his Achilles, but a doctor is confident he'll be able to play at his superstar level when he returns.

Jayson Tatum underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the Celtics announced on Tuesday.

Tatum had already been climbing the depth chart of all-time great Celtics.

The injury will likely cause him to miss most if not all of the 2025 season.
