In a twist that’s left travellers a little grounded, British Airways (BA) has announced it will pause its London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi flights from March 30 to October 25, 2025. The reason? Ongoing delays in the delivery of Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines for its Boeing 787 Dreamliners have forced the airline to hit pause on the popular route.

Trips between Gatwick and New York, and Heathrow and Kuala Lumpur and Doha have all been cancelled until March or April, assuming that there are no further delays than those already expected.
