The White House and other FBI and DHS officials have denied that the “drones” pose a national security risk. However, the Federal Aviation Administration has threatened to use “deadly force” against the aircraft and recently temporarily banned all drone operations in many parts of New Jersey.

The North Texas police department is working with federal agencies to identify who was operating the drones and their flight trajectories.
