LSU football picked up another edge rusher from the transfer portal in Florida State junior Patrick Payton. Payton committed to LSU on Saturday, a source confirmed to The Advocate. He’s expected to be a key player as LSU replaces its defensive front, and he will try to finish his career on a high note to boost his NFL draft stock.

With the transfer portal now open, the Florida State Seminoles and Mike Norvell will look at these portal targets to improve for next season.

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer pointed out two position groups where his initial roster was playing with less numbers than he would normally prefer: defensive backs and offensive line.
