The Texas Longhorns host the Clemson Tigers this weekend in the first round of the new 12-team College Football Playoff, bringing the action right to Austin, Texas. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. CT,

Clemson won national titles in 2016 and 2018 but missed the playoff the last four seasons. Texas is the only one of last year’s four playoff teams to make it into the expanded field this season.

Texas only fell to No. 5 in the seeds after losing to Georgia in overtime in the SEC Championship Game. The Longhorns get ACC champion Clemson in the first round and are the biggest favorite of the first round, opening at -10.5 points and the line has since moved to -12.5.
