A day after Manu Bhaker's name was absent from among those recommended for the prestigious Khel Ratna award created a furore, it is reliably learnt that it is likely to be added to the final list after union sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya takes a call on the matter in a few days.

Double Olympic bronze-medallist Manu Bhaker on Tuesday acknowledged a lapse on her part while filing nominations for this year's National Sports Awards, amidst controversy regarding her omission from the Khel Ratna awardees list.

The 22-year-old pistol ace said her aim was to perform for the country and it would not change whether she got an award or not.
