Lennar Corporation shares fell 9% in Thursday’s premarket session after the homebuilder blamed rising mortgage costs for a slowdown in its sales that saw it fall short of analysts expectations.

The Dow managed to narrowly snap a 10-day losing streak, giving up most of its earlier gains to end slightly higher after Wednesday's 1,100-point drop.

The Cboe Volatility Index, which trades under the ticker symbol VIX, was down 4% at slightly more than 15, according to FactSet data, at last check. The VIX was trading slightly below its 200-day moving average, based on FactSet data around midday Wednesday.

The Dow lost more than 250 points ahead of the Fed's decision on interest rates. Nvidia stock continued its correction, while Tesla shares jumped.

Bryson reiterated his Outperform (Buy) rating but lowered his 12-month price target for the semiconductor stock to $125 from $140. This gives shares implied upside of 43.5% from current levels.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, on its longest losing streak since September 1974, was down 2.6% to 42,326. The S&P 500 declined 2.9% to 5,872, while the Nasdaq Composite fell 3.6% to 19,392.
