Disney has decided to cut a transgender narrative from the animated show. The Hollywood Reporter shared the details of the decision, along with a response from Disney. “Win or Lose” is about the Pickles, a co-ed middle school softball team.

Dec. 18 (UPI) -- A transgender storyline will no longer be included in Disney 's Win or Lose when it streams in February. The show, which includes eight episodes, rotates between various characters who are involved with a softball team in a middle school.

Disney has removed the transgender storyline from Pixar's upcoming series 'Win or Lose.' A spokesperson for Disney stated that "parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms" in response to the decision.
